Location:

Daniels Lake Lodge B&B is located in the central part of the western side of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, 21 miles north of the small city of Kenai between the villiage of Nikiski and Captain Cook State Recreation Area. We are easy to find following signs on a paved road 2.1 miles from mile 29.7 Kenai Spur Highway. Guests often use our place as a home base and take day trips. Driving time is approximately 1¹/₂ hours to Homer or Cooper Landing, 2¹/₄ hours to Seward.

Features:

We (Jim and Karen) like to offer our guests an Alaskan home of their own where you can relax and really experience the beauty and peace we enjoy all the time. Ours is a quiet place that gives you the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle but close to many activities. We try to give you privacy but still be available to help you discover our special area of Alaska.

• Hot tub is on a deck by the lake shore.
• Bar-b-ques are on the main house lakeside deck and log cabin porches.
• Each of the log cabins have satellite TV and guest rooms in the main house each have local TV.
• All our bedrooms have comfortable, firm dual king or two twin beds.
• All our guests, either in the main house or cabins have a kitchen.
• Boats and canoes are rented by morning, afternoon or evening time periods. Rent is $5 for a rowboat, paddleboat or canoe and $20 for a motorboat. 

Breakfast:

All our kitchens in the house and cabins are generously stocked with country fixins for a self-serve breakfast that you may enjoy according to your schedule. Goodies include  reindeer sausage, fresh duck eggs (if our pet ducks are cooperating), cereals, toaster waffles, pancake mix, coffee, tea, juice & milk.

Outside Your Door:

• Enjoy Moose, Loons, Eagles, Wild ducks, Beaver, Spawning salmon and other wildlife.

• Walk or take a run along our country road to Daniels Creek.

• Canoe landing at the end of Swanson River Canoe Trail System.

• Nikiski's glass enclosed indoor swimming pool with 136 foot water slide.
