Daniels Lake

Daniels Lake is about two miles long each way. Our acreage is wrapped around the cove at the lower right end of the lake. The photographs you see on our web site are looking toward two islands. It encompasses the two short roads. There is no public access so the lake stays very nice & is quiet most of the time. There are places where it's around 100 feet deep but it's very nice shallow gravel in front of our place. At the end of the dock, it's just about above an adult's head. It is spring fed & creates Daniels Creek which empties into Bishop Creek which flows into Cook Inlet near the entrance to Captain Cook State Recreation Area, about 6 miles north of us. The red (sockeye) salmon follow the creeks to our shoreline to spawn in late summer. This is such a healthy lake that we have a wonderful population of native rainbow trout.
